BRIEF BIO

My first career was teaching college mathematics. I dropped out of that in order to stay home with a young child, and retrained as a computer scientist. Apart from my first subsequent programming job, all my work since then has been in e-learning. I am now virtually retired from programming.

Education:  BS in Mathematics (Caltech); PhD in Mathematics (Yale); MS in Computer and Information Sciences (University of Minnesota)
